Scheduled flyouts are available each and every day at the lodge. Groups of 4, 5 or 6 can hop on the Otter after breakfast and fly to one of our secluded flyout destinations! If you are joining us at the lodge and you are only a group of 2, not to worry. We can pair you with another group to ensure you get to experience a Hatchet Lake Flyout.

If you are concerned about losing fishing time on a flyout, there is no need to. Each flyout is given 8 hours from the time they are dropped off to the time they are picked up. We also always offer shore lunches on our flyouts. So you won’t be missing out on that either, but, if you would rather take sandwich's and spend more time fishing, the choice is yours!

Hatchet Lake Lodge has rights to 16 flyout destinations. Typically, in any given year we will cycle these lakes and open up 7-8 lakes each year. Each flyout comes with its own set of characteristics and fishable species. View the table below for a breakdown of our flyout destination.
