Babiche Lake is a short 10 minute flight north of Hatchet Lake by floatplane. One of the smaller lakes on Hatchet's list of flyout destinations makes this a popular fishing hole on days of high wind. Running only 12 kilometres long and 2.5 kilometres wide at it's widest point, Babiche Lake is sure to fulfill your dream of hooking into a monster northern pike. At times in the year you can find lake trout in the deeper areas of Babiche Lake. With only two boats available at this lake, the only other boat you will see during your day of fishing will be the group you came with!
