1.) What hotel do you recommend in Winnipeg?

We recommend that you stay at the Fairmont in Winnipeg. The number is (204) 985-6211. This is the only hotel in which our shuttle picks the guests up to take them to the airport the morning of their departure to Hatchet Lake Lodge. We have a special rate with them, just be sure to mention that you are guests of Hatchet Lake Lodge.

2.) Do we share accommodations with any other people?

The only people that you would ever share accommodations with are those people that are in your own group. You would never share a cabin with persons from another group.

3.) Do you have phone and internet hookup?

Yes, we have a two payphones that guests can use at all times. We also have two satellite internet hookups for guests to also use.

4.) What do you have for medical emergencies?

We have first-aid and CPR/AED certified personal on staff. We are also 15 minutes by air from a medical clinic.

5.)Do you have communication at fly out lakes?

Yes, we have satellite phones that go out with guests on fly out lakes.

6.) Do you have outposts camps?

No, we do not have any outpost camps.

7.) Can you accommodate for people with special diets?

Yes, just please let us know ahead of time and we can accommodate special diets.

8.) Do you have exercise equipment?

Yes, we have a fully equipped gym with a treadmill, elliptical trainer, stepper, free weights and a universal gym.

9.) Do you have walking/hiking trails?

Yes, we have a few trails that go around the island.
